Maple Syrup Festival

We went to the Maple Syrup Festival at North Park Nature Center. It was gorgeous weather and a wonderful day.

Here they are, smoking up some sap.

It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.



We spotted the hawk again, not building his nest today, but making lots of noise and flying from tree to tree.
