Otto's tooth has been loose for about a week or so, and he has been wiggling it and playing with it and waiting for it to come out of its own accord. We suddenly realized it was VERY loose this evening. I wanted to take a movie of him wiggling it, but it totally surprised me that he actually managed to pull it right out on his very first attempt. With Max, this could literally go on for hours or even days, and there was so much angst. I can hardly believe it actually happened this easily with Otto, and I was really delighted that I managed to film the entire event.
Here is Otto's new smile, which has remained big all evening long. We have put the tooth in a bug box so it doesn't get lost, and the tooth and the bug box are both under his pillow, awaiting Otto's first visit from the tooth fairy. We wonder what a tooth goes for in Germany...
